Hello, my name is Pat Delahoussaye. I grew up in an unknown town in New Mexico, playing basketball and tennis in my free time. I was homeschooled and dedicated to becoming an all time great basketball player, so I moved to California in May of 2024 to attend Foothills Christian High School, pursuing my dreams and God. I want to attend SDSU to obtain a degree in Communication, and play basketball for SDSU while I am attending.

I think SDSU is a good fit academically because it would expose me to the various cultures of other students and give me valuable non-academic experience that would benefit a degree in Communications. In my academics in high school my work ethic, organizational skills, and leadership benefited group projects, which I think would be great for SDSU as well. In high school, my faith allowed me to advance through adversity, and I hope to spread the diligence and tenacity my faith provides to other students at SDSU. I also play basketball, which I love and dedicated my life to at the age of 12. Basketball developed my character as I was taught to never quit. I want to bring a never-quit attitude to SDSU. I first met the team in 2024 and I have formed friendships with some of the players like Desai who I Occasionally workout with. In my school team, I brought an attitude of joy to the team which I want to bring to SDSU as well. 

In closing, I want to thank you for your time and interest in my application. I am very interested in taking classes and getting my college degree and playing basketball while attending. I look forward to positively influencing the school, bringing my hard work and enthusiasm to the sdsu community. I am looking forward to calling myself an Aztec.
