The theme I have chosen for my senior portfolio is basketball. I have chosen this theme because I love basketball and I want to integrate Jesus into it. The theme will showcase how everything changed when I put Jesus in the game. As a culturized basketball player, Jesus changed my entire outlook of the game. For instance when I started to think like Christ, I viewed the game as a gift from God, and something to pour into. Too often I would get carried away with what the game could do for me rather than what I could do for the game. Take for instance how I used to be so consumed with how I looked and how I was being talked about. I put myself out there like a product, trying to please the man but not the creator of man; but I digress. Anyways, by putting Jesus in the game I was able to start to separate who I am from what I do, and to change the the way I see and desire things on and off the court.
